The Encyclopedia of Islamic Political Jurisprudence fulfills 42% of the entries on issues and concepts

The Scientific Committee of the Encyclopedia of Islamic Political Jurisprudence has completed arbitrating and editing 100 entries of the encyclopedia on the major political issues and concepts, which are 241 entries in total.

While the committee, which is supervised by a group of senior researchers and thinkers, continues its intensive work, the accomplishment in the areas of “major political issues and concepts” has been approximately 42% since the research process was launched in October 2021.

Furthermore, the encyclopedia has accomplished 54 concepts in major political concepts, which dealt with a number of entries, such as: trustworthiness, hijaba, almsgiving, biographies, freedom …etc. It also dealt with 46 major political issues such as: the reformist movement, individual freedoms, the righteous caliphate, Wilayat Al-faqih (Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist), the religious state, reformist Salafism and Sharia politics..etc.  

In this respect, a group of senior thinkers and researchers in political thought /Fikr and political and social sciences are working on completing the encyclopedia, under the direct supervision of the scientific committee of the encyclopedia.

It is expected that the research work on the encyclopedia will be ending by 2024.
