A Moroccan researcher, obtained a Ph.D. in Islamic sciences and the Maqasid of Sharia from Mohammed I University, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Oujda, 2003.

He has authored five books and published articles and studies in several international and national refereed journals.

He is a faculty member in the Islamic Studies, College of Arts, Oujda, and a member of the University Council and the College Council (2016-2019), as well as a Director of the Maqasid Studies Laboratory and Issues of Ijtihad and Renovation, and a Deputy Coordinator of the Ijtihad, Renovation and Future of Religion Unit. He has published several research and studies in the field of Sharia politics and contemporary jurisprudence issues.
