An Egyptian academic, and currently is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at Ibn Khaldun University in Istanbul (Turkey).

She was a former Professor in the Department of Political Science at Cairo University from 1987 to 2017, and was a visiting professor at the American University in Cairo.

Bibliography

Published several books and scientific research in both Arabic and English on the topics of citizenship and human rights, global civil society, women and politics, Islamic urbanism, and political transformations in Egypt after the Arab Spring.
