A Sudanese researcher and an Associate Professor at the Department of International Affairs, Qatar University, an academic fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the United Kingdom, and former Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Economic and Social Studies at Al-Neelain University (Sudan).

He is the author of 10 books in the field of political and social studies, and has published more than 30 research papers in refereed scientific journals. He wrote a large number of press articles in several fields, including culture, thought, politics and sociology.
